Regarding the example I removed (Mook Chivalry), I guess I should give a more detailed explanation than the one I provided in the reasoning for the edit:

That example was based on the Dragon not attacking Mordamir, even after the latter appeared, made a grand speech about how he hates dragons, and started attacking you before finally taking the amulet from your hands. But that's not how the scene goes: Mordamir yanks the amulet from your hand right after he appears on the scene, BEFORE he starts attacking you. And the Dragon was visibly tired after using all his firepower on you to no avail, so it didn't have time to attack Mordamir in the short inteval between the latter showing up and him taking the amulet.

Simply put: there was no Mook Chivalry involved, the Dragon just couldn't act fast enough to kill Mordamir in the brief period the latter was vulnerable.

EDIT: incidentally, it was more or less the same reason I moved the Plot Induced Stupidity entry to the YMMV section, but I wrote a bullet point there and even included a Fridge Brilliance entry explaining the situation in detail, so I guess it's enough.

About my example which got pulled: the game teaches you throught the level how to train lizards; yet the lizard the game needs you to train is, for no apparent reason, described as being "bird-like" instead of "lizard-like". Even though looking at the sprite it's very obviously a lizard.

Plot Hole is incorrect, I realize that now. But what is the correct trope?

I'll probably ask in Trope Finder as well.

There are flying lizards in the game, correct? That's what they mean by "bird-like." If they called it a bird, it would be a mistake, but "bird-like" just means it's has some similarities to a bird (in this case the wings, flight and possibly other features that we can't really make out from the sprite).

It still seems kinda weird, but I guess I'll accept it. Thanks.

I'd like to apologize for all this.

Just to make it clearer, it's a simple simile, like describing a big, hairy man as bear-like. It's perfectly normal usage and not really tropable.
