Aside from the misindentation (and the troper in question, 8 Brick Mario, should know better by now), both examples are incorrect. Call-Back is when works reference events from predecessors linked to them in chronology (the case for prequels doing it is Call-Forward). Just because Galaxy 2 and 3D World have Green Stars means absolutely nothing, because the two games aren't linked in any way, and no one knows if the stars are even the same. Same case with the names of the bonus worlds, since NSMB 2 is not linked in any way to 3D World.
