Since there's been no response for three days, I'm moving ahead to remove the spoiler tags and place warnings on the appropriate pages.
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.Hello. I would like to propose that we should create separate articles for the first four games, similar to the individual articles regarding the Crash Bandicoot video games. Thoughts or objections before I do so?

Edited by gjjones He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself. So, is there a effective-enough reason in-universe that men cannot pilot the mecha, and only women can do it?
Hide / Show RepliesReally late response, but the reason is that the Kohbu mechs are run on spiritual energy, which very few people in-universe have. Most of the people who have enough spiritual energy happen to be women, so that's why Ogami and Shinjiro are the only males in the series who can pilot the Kohbu.
Because the last game in the main series, Sakura Taisen V, was released in Japan 8 years ago, and we haven't seen anything else aside from stage shows and spinoffs.
So...is there no way to get Volume 8 of the Sakura Taisen manga? Did Tokyopop just stop after 7?

As the series is nearing its 25th anniversary and Shin Sakura Wars is inevitably going to be released later this year (2019), I would like to propose that all spoilers for the games, TV series and OVAs preceding on the video game pages, as well as the movie page and character sheets, be unmarked given how long the story has been part of Japanese pop culture as well as the sheer volume of spoilers. Instead, the pages will receive a note that says "This page contains unmarked spoilers. You Have Been Warned!" Any thoughts?
