Does Super Not-Drowning Skills really apply in this case? Your hero can't hold his breath for too horribly long, and the trope seems to be about never drowning no matter how long you hold your breath.

If you look at the clock and time your hero's stamina, you'll notice he can hold his breath for hours in game time, longer if you have stamina potions.

It's been a really long time since I played this but I could've sworn there was a time limit to how long you could stay underwater without having the waterbreathing amulet equipped, and if it ran out you died regardless of remaining stamina.

From what I am reading, yeah, that amulet is necessary to stay underwater indefinitely.

Why does no one mention that you can murder the hapless townsfolk in this game by trying to give them spells? Also, if you try to give Shakra a spell he will give you his own spell that results in a game over screen.

Prolly because there is no trope for it, or because nobody listed one yet.

Yeah, Video Game Cruelty Potential fits the first scenario.
