I've just deleted the dubious claim that this game is the Trope Maker for Rocket Jump. As stated above, how can it be when this ability was in Duke Nukem II some five years earlier?
I don't know what is supposed to make this game the Trope Codifier, so I've left that in; but given that the first part of the claim is bogus, the second part is decidedly suspect.

Trope Codifier is the use of the trope everyone rips off. Full-fledged Rocket Jumps weren't that possible until this game.
Edited by AMNKJust removed the following dubious claim from Ascended Glitch:
- This game is also the Trope Maker for the accidentally implemented weapon jumps (Rocket Jump and grenade jump among others) which became rather common element for first-person shooters.
The rocket jump first appeared in Duke Nukem II (although it was deliberately included — it even appeared in the demo), and also appeared in Doom. It's also questionable whether its appearance in Quake is accidental; reaching one of the secrets can only be achieved via a grenade jump.
I find it curious how the only instance of the Quad Damage trope being mentioned in any of the game pages is in the Quake I (and only in the multiplayer folder where it specifically highlights Threewave CTF's Strength rune) and Quake 4 pages.
Would it be prudent to delete the latter entry and create a general entry here, highlighting each of its changes throughout the series?
