Would Production Foreshadowing be appropriate regarding the upcoming (as of this writing) Pokémon: Legends Z-A?

It’s because Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde are conspiciously absent from the roster despite Mewtwo and every other boxart Legends coming back. It’s the same way on how Sword and Shield versions have absolutely no Gen 4 Mythicals, alongside no Gen 4 Fossils despite every other Fossils in Crown Tundra, is a giveaway for BDSP and Legends: Arceus in hindsight.

I listed it on Sandbox/Pokemon Legends ZA so I'm sure it could go here.

Has anyone wondered why “the Visitor” has no body found? I don’t believe that the Loyal Three killed him and then dropped his body in the water because dead bodies float. I think “the Visitor had disappeared like ran away to make it look like he died to make Ogerpon get mad. When Ogerpon killed the Loyal Three, I don’t think she was trying to kill them, I think she was trying to save them from their Toxic Chains but “the Visitor” in disguise surprised Ogerpon into killing the Loyal Three, starting the plot of the Ogerpon’s bad publicity in the first place. I believe “the Visitor” was working with Pecharunt this entire time and was only pretending to be Ogerpon’s friend.

Seems like this would fit better in WMG but this seems like a huge stretch

While I agree he may not have been killed, working with Pecharunt is another matter.

I personally like the idea of him working with Pecharunt more than him being killed because it makes more sense to me and it reminds me of both Volo from Pokémon Legends Arceus and Dusknoir from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers Of Time, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers Of Darkness, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers Of Sky though mainly Dusknoir as everyone thought he was a good guy but later turns out to be evil since he was working for Primal Dialga.

Is there a way to rephrase the spoiler policy at the top so it isn't a spoiler itself?

How exactly does one frame the state the game is in, exactly? Because a very direct, fundamental part of the discussion is how glitch-riddled it is, but apparently Obvious Beta isn't fitting?

It was discussed in the thread for the game. Obvious Beta is when the game is *completely unplayable.* Although SV is buggy, the issues are mostly graphical or lag, and are thus quite easily resolved.

Obvious Beta has since had its definition expanded, so I removed the mod notice I previously added. However, it's also now YMMV, so if it's re-added, it'll have to go on the YMMV page and not the main page.

Edit: Oh, right, I probably should have mentioned that it was decided in this thread. Apologies for going half a month without clarifying how/where this was decided.

Idk about any of you, but I feel that this page might have a LOT of spoilers from looking at it. Example, Area Zero, Penny, and the Professor are impossible to talk about them without spoiling the story. And a bunch of trope examples have those walking spoilers involved.

Are you suggesting we add a "Spoilers Off" warning label?

Why yes, yes I am. Same with the Legends: Arceus page, as it is also EXTREMELY spoiler-heavy.

So, on the "Guide Dang It!" segment of this page, it states that Bisharp that lead packs are not guaranteed to hold a Leader's Crest.

However, Serebii contradicts this by stating that Bisharp that lead packs have a 100% chance of holding a Leader's Crest.

Meanwhile, Bulbapedia doesn't say anything about the Leader's Crest, only stating you need to beat three Bisharp leaders and no other requirements beyond that.

So with all these sources having inconsistent information, I just have to ask: What are the chances of a Bisharp leader holding a Leader's Crest? Do they even need to hold a Leader's Crest

Okay, so Bulbapedia has recently just added the Leader's Crest requirement, but we still need confirmation on whether pack leader Bisharp are guaranteed to hold a Leader's Crest or not.

The Breaking Old Trends entry says the game has No Antagonist. Is that true? The final boss gets in your way but it's mostly due to their AI programming, which they can't stop so you're forced to fight them. They're not directly antagonizing you, but you have to stop them and the time machine to prevent more Paradox Pokemon from wreaking havoc.

Also, Cassiopeia declares war on the Team Star bosses on your behalf, so they all know exactly who you are and will fight you, which sounds like antagonism to me. All of Team Star and even the final boss, I wouldn't say are truly villainous, but there is a difference been antagonist and villain, even if there's usually a lot of overlap between the two.

Yeah, if the distinction is held between villain and antagonist, then I would say the game has antagonists, just not villains. The trope page states "It simply means that the central conflict of the work has no characters who are a defined source of friction," and I suppose it could be argued that the Paradise Protection Protocol isn't really a character, but it certainly behaves like one when it takes control of AI Sada/Turo. And while Team Star mostly stay holed up in their bases, their existence is still a defined source of friction.

Anybody know at which point today that we're allowed to start editing pages with stuff from the game itself? It's only just turned the 18th in places like New Zealand, and I have no idea where to find info about the site's policies on release dates.

My personal guess is around the 19th-20th UTC, but I'll leave the official decision to the more experienced here.
