I think that it's worth mentioning that the announcement system may actually have a literal ghost. If one were to take the SWAT Leader's flashlight from next to his body and carry it with him down to the announcement room, an easter egg would cause the SWAT light to turn on, and looking to the right of the chair would reveal a woman's silhouette.
Of course, it could have all been caused by the core, like usual.
