Agreed; I don't even see that much backlash to NSMBW in general, and the little there is, it's geared towards the Toads, not the Koopalings. I think that one person was responsible for putting them on The Scrappy list, for this page, the Character List, and the Scrappy page for video games. I don't see any real evidence for keeping them on there, and I've half a mind to just remove them from those pages myself.

The Koopalings were put on the scrappy list by a different person than the one who placed them here, so it's not an outright hit. If enough people want the koopalings on the list, I'll let them have it so, with a Your Mileage May Vary if its controversial. But I've still seen no evidence that they're true scrappies outside of the game's hatedom which. As for the hatedom itself, I've put up with enough It's the Same, So It Sucks to confirm one exists.
This isn't wikipedia, yeah, we're real loose with sources and stuff, but I'd like to prevent complaints by a disgruntled minority being treated like the thoughts of the fanbase as a whole.

Nightmare Fuel, Fetish Fuel and That One Boss are subjective tropes. Subjective tropes are slightly more permissive with opinions, so long as it don't go overboard. Just because it's more acceptable on those pages, doesn't mean it's acceptable on every page.

It's okay to go nekkid on a nudist beach, but doesn't mean it's acceptable everywhere. It also doesn't stop certain people from doing it anyways.
I've noticed two entries (now cut) that mentioned some sort of "forced meme" from IGN. There's no notability rules on what works you can add, but don't clutter the pages themselves with this crap!
Any real evidence that the Koopalings are that hated?
