Is Cap kind of an asshole or is it just me? It's gotten to the point where I kind of dread leveling up friendship with him because every conversation with the Hunter he comes across as egotistical, and not in an Awesome Ego way. He's just smugly condescending to the Hunter with unwanted talks about "what they can be" if of course they do things in a way he approves of. I'm not a big comic reader so most of my familiarity with him is from the MCU and it just rubs me really the wrong way.
Especially when Tony Stark, the biggest ego in the Marvel universe AFAIK, actually can set that aside and just chat with the Hunter about his unfamiliarity with magic and the supernatural, and actually listens when they try and teach him.
