Took a while to understand why, but we aren't supposed to shoehorn memes, as they "don't make things wittier". Hell, there were even banned tropers because of this.
Still, putting a edit reason with a link to the Tips Worksheet should have avoided all that warring.

Should this page be an index? I realize that Capcom Vs Whatever is already an index, but Marvel Vs Capcom is a recognized series in its own right with several entries.

Totally agree, it got really big, and while we're at it, what about giving each game it's own page, and just listing the general tropes for the series in this page?

I've started separating the Mv C 3 tropes from the other games' tropes. There're just too much from them. Once we've separated them, then the creation of a new page for the game might be a piece of cake.

Since DLC is confirmed, don't started crying ruined FOREVER just yet. Strider may return as a DLC character, considering his huge fan base. It looks like Capcom wants to use the initial release to have some focus on the game's new characters.
Someone added C. Viper and Storm to the list of confirmed characters. Is this a case of trolling or have they got a source?

It's confirmed. I'm too lazy to post a link in this response, but it's confirmed. Viper's fighting style plays better in this game than it does in SSF 4.
No, I wasn't trolling. I added them in (had a bit of trouble with the page linking which is why there are some multiple edits from me). I suppose at this point listing the original source I got the info from is useless as it is everywhere now but here it is anyway.

She-Hulk and Zero trailers have been released. I placed Jen on the new side of Marvel characters because she is new.
The thing is I also placed Zero as new to the Capcom side even though there should be an asterisk by his name. Zero has never been in a Marvel vs game but he was in Tatsunoko Vs Capcom (and it looks like he has a similar move set). I also listed Mega Man X as Zero's home franchise instead of the Tatsunoko Vs game.
Do you guys feel I made the right call regarding Zero? Or should we make a few changes?

Yes, always list the original game or series that the character was first introduced in. In this case, Zero comes from Mega Man X.

Why does "Amaterasu and Thor are God Tier" keep getting deleted? I can understand it not being the proper use of the Incredibly Lame Pun trope in-universe (which it still might end up being), but it IS Memetic Mutation that the fans created when they were first announced. This has nothing to do with character tiers. These deletions are just examples of "Stop Having Fun" Guys.
