If we can already find images of the English boxart, I don't see why not.

Speaking of localization, what are we to do with the name changes, on the list of playable characters? Should we list the original names? The changed ones? Or some form of both?

We could list any changed names under Dub Name Change

As far as I'm aware, the game just refers to him as "Kosaku Kawajiri," and Kosaku is just easier to type than Kosaku!Kira.

At least, that's my reasoning for it.

Maybe so but its a bit weird to see all instances of "Kosaku!Kira" changed to plain "Kosaku" so quickly.

And The Fandom Rejoiced is Your Mileage May Vary, so as much as the mileage doesn't really vary in this case, it has to go on the YMMV tab. I don't know what's the procedure on No Problem With Licensed Games, though.

NPWLG is also YMMV due to the fact that it's in Sugar Wiki.

THEY'RE REFERENCES, IT DOESN'T MEAN THEY HAVE TO ACTUALLY BE SPELLED EXACTLY THE SAME. Also, THEY'RE NOT SPELLED THE SAME.

If Straizo were actually named Straits, his name would be spelled ストレイツ (Sutoreitsu), not ストレイツォ (Sutoreitso) WITH THE "O" AT THE END.

If Wamuu were actually named Wham, his name would be spelled ワム (Wamu), not ワムウ (Wamuu) WITH THE EXTRA "U" AT THE END.

If Esidisi were actually named ACDC, his name would be spelled ACDC or エーシーディーシー (Ēshīdīshī, yeah, there's an actual difference), not エシディシ (Eshidishi). Also, you're arguing for a character being named Alternating Current Direct Current.

Okay. So some time has passed and I was being a dick. I understand that. And to clarify, it was more of a stupid joke than a tantrum — you kinda let your anger color what was happening. Didn't mean to offend.

But this is the same man whose official translation for part 4's title is obvious, conspicuous Engrish. Araki's native language is Japanese. I suppose my issue isn't what the names are "supposed" to be, because Araki's word *is* final. My issue is what the names *should* be. There's no changing it, but it really fuckin' bothers me, that's all.

I see it the same as DBZ's character names. They're inspired by the bands, but not supposed to be identical. Kakarot never gets translated to Carrot, no translation refers to Vegeta as Vegetable, and so on.

The complaining is more about the fact that he's just spamming his way through the League, making most of his matches incredibly uninteresting. This is especially considering the fact that he got in through group G, meaning he got into the finals tournament over characters that we've seen barely any of, like Valentine, Pucci, or part 1 Dio.

That, and he had his fights in Group F already. that was like giving him a second chance, and then him making it in over all those other characters.

Puccils AI was especially crappy for how it acted when he was far away from his enemy.

I say we should wait until the game's release when players have played him and others in full detail before we make tier assessments.

That's already on the YMMV tab to begin with, I don't see why it's a big deal.

People were calling Noriaki out for being too high tier because the AI overused Emerald Splash and also didn't react too well to him.

Oh yeah I almost forgot. Truth be told I actually changed that one bit to reflect how the AI used him but in hindsight I think it should have actually been removed with a note explaining how the AI fights league battles.

And then tier lists come out and K Akyoin's S+ tier. Well...that's me shutting up then.

I'd say to wait and see until the game actually releases, and we have a good amount of info on the stories. Jojolion apparently has a story that's completely original, so I'd say if that brings enough unique content for the characters to the table, that it'd warrant it.

It's a bit rough, but that seems to be the gist of it...
