I suspect that Joshua's and Callech's dialogue on Eriphim's route is actually veiled hostility as opposed to open hostility, making the remark "nothing personal" lies.

I can't decide whether Lyon's evil status be hidden in spoiler tags or not. This page seems to flip flop between them. On one hand, it's pretty obvious early on and it's an old game. On the other, 3DS Ambassadors who never played the game before might be spoiled.

I would err more on the side of Grado remnants still having massive numbers simply indicating how large the Grado army really is, as opposed to being Gameplay and Story Segregation The game's description of most enemies named "Soldier" is literally "the army of the Grado Empire, the largest on the continent". Grado is also the largest of the six nations by decent margin.
