I would hesitate to call it "Sony's Policy" when the "censorship" depends upon each game. If it were one singular company's "censorship policy" do you not think it would have a blatant set of rules to follow? Why is it that JRP Gs have WILDLY different "censorship" applications? It seems to me to be more emblematic of politics in general, than actual company censorship. Remember one thing. Many of these JRP Gs were going to be advertised in the Olympics to some degree. Even further, both Western and Eastern Populations have new generations and new tastes and the Japanese companies who make these games, probably think there's money in appealing to them.
