What even gave you the idea that the Valle d'Aosta and Tannhaeuser legends were related to this game?
Dear fellow tropers, I have a request. If any of you reading this are well-versed in Italian language and folklore, could you please research if there is a legend in Valle d'Aosta similar to what's happening in the game, or the developers just made it up? I could do it myself, but I know very little Italian, the English previews and articles about the game don't elaborate on the whole "legend" stuff, and the "Myths and Legends" section
of the official Valle d'Aosta tourism website doesn't have anything similar. To me, the most similar thing in the world folklore seems the German legend of Tannhaeuser
, except, you know, less murder.
