is the game truly darker and edgier? Despite more emphasis on mental instability, i feel like this game might be a bit lighter. I mean, the first game had featured scenes of saito killing women pleading for their lives, and even showed iris getting chopped in half. many characters end up surviving as well, there's nothing like the annihilation route, most of the cast bar gen are safe and sound
Kinda noticing there are some example of tropes that are put to trope page too early and not true in the full context.
Like Ship Sinking example? Date and Hitomi are apparently dating in epilogue and if I remember correctly timeline placement of "waiting for Date" thing, its because its during period Date had disappeared for six years
Hide / Show RepliesWe'll just have to adjust them. I've already adjusted the example you mentioned for instance.
Should this article spoiler stuff from the first game? On one hand, it would allow for less spoilers on this page where necessary, specifically stuff involving Date. On the other hand, the devs designed the game to be as spoiler free for people who haven't played the first game, so it might be more in the spirit of that to still spoiler stuff from the first game.
The first bullet point in "Sequel Escalation" has info that's just plain....wrong. It claims that nirvanA Initiative "involves a power struggle between rival international organizations". I'm guessing the two "international organizations" are supposed to be Naix and the Order of %? But in Ryuki Chapter 2, Shigure explicitly says that they're not at odds with each other ("It is true that Naix and the Order of % have differing beliefs. However we are not at odds with each other"). There is no power struggle in this game. There's just Tearer using the resources of Naix and the Horadori Institute to achieve his plan. I'd edit that myself, but I'm not sure how to reword that. Sequel Escalation is a fine trope to use, but that part was just incorrect
