I don't want to take out the whole section without checking with anyone else, but the Real Life example is incorrect.
Spycatcher was written by an MI 5 counter-intelligence operative, not an MI 6 officer.
The rivalry between 5 and 6 features pretty heavily in the book, especially since the author felt that MI 6 protected several Soviet agents found within their ranks, including Philby, Burgess, and Mc Clain.
If others agree, though, that section needs removing.
