I came here for useful notes about plane spotting, not marginally useful historical notes for plane spotters.

It's definitely one of those "early" useful notes titles where the author was more concerned with making a funny pun ("train spotting") to fit in with the funny trope names than being descriptive. It would make sense to change it to be in line with most useful notes pages.
This needs a new name. How about Useful Notes: Military aircraft? I'm sure this page would see wider circulation if people actually knew what this page was actually about.
