If you look closely, you will find a growing opinion against hosting the 2022 winter olympics in Oslo. Only one political party actually supports it, and the whole thing seems to be in disarray at the moment. Thus, new parliamentary sessions are called, both locally in Oslo and on a state level, to make desperate saving throws in favour of the games. But at the moment, even a state-given guarantee for the games is out in the open. This has much to do with the way the IOC works, and how taxes are meant to be used.

Ahem, political commentary is not what discussion pages are for.

I know. I just wanted to say. In time, an adjustment of the edits considering the 2022 games will have to consider whether or not Oslo actually will be a host for the games at all.

Does someone know where the music in these two NBC advertisements is from? I'd really like to add the piece to the Olympics' Crowning Music Of Awesome entry, but I haven't been able to discern the music's identity from the video comments.

Did those Crowning Moment pages literally sprout up overnight since the 2012 Opening Ceremony?

Is not unusual for this pages to grown when people are hyped about the events, specially when they're being hold in a English speaking country (the same thing occurred during the 2010 Winter Olympics).

More like, someone finally got around to taking existing entries on the various Crowning Moment pages and moving them from there to here.
