I have been mysteriously locked out of editing pages directly ("We can't match your login information"), so I'm putting what I want to add here:

You wouldn't think Green could do control, but "Fog Decks" occasionally see play. These decks are full of spells and abilities that prevent damage (like Fog, Blunt the Assault, and Chameleon Blur), allowing the player to cast any number of huge beasties and swing for lethal at her leisure.

Instants aren't even allowed at common anymore.

Well this didn't age well.

Also, Equipment does show up at Common but only in very low quantities, nowadays you can count yearly amount on your fingers.
