It says "slightly less defunct", but 'bobbies' is still as common as 'coppers', 'the Fuzz', 'cops', 'the Plod' etc and 'peelers' is still used in Great Britain, just not as much. However, there are far too many names for the police officers that you can't list them all. Just, change it because these terms are (1)used and (2)common, not (1)obsolete and (2)scarce.

This situation reminds me of how, in Avengers Assemble, a Tommy (called Tom and all) actually said Q-U-I-M. It's more widely known than (I'm guessing) Americans think over here.
