  • Never Say "Die": 'Flatlining'. Justified in that, aside from actual death, it can also describe damaging the Runner's computer to the point that they are no longer a threat.
Er, no. 1) Hardware can be replaced, and 2) it's explicitly said in the manual: "The Corporation also wins if the Runner is forced to discard more cards than the number of cards he or she has in hand, in which case the Runner is considered flatlined, or brain dead."
