What does simulated mean with regard to the Gabble Sisters' theme and Let Me Be Your Wings? Did the author just mean plagiarized, or does simulated carry some particular meaning I'm missing?

Added a quote from Deadpool 2, though I'm wondering if it should go here or on Western Animation since while the discussion and quote come from a live-action film, the example it's discussing is an animated movie.

Can someone find the piece that I think was in Anastasia which was suspiciously similar to the beginning of the fourth movement of the Organ Symphony by Saint-Saëns?
I was listening to some Jazz classics and couldnt help notice 'While we danced at the Mardi Grais' sounded very similar to Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast and Les Possions from The Little Mermaid. Anyone else think the same?
