Should the Brutal Doom example be removed? I've heard that its code is basically spaghetti.

I play fighting games on occasion. (Tekken/Melty Blood/Under Night In-Birth) Hide / Show Replies

Is there any verifiable proof that it actually is spaghetti?

The current quote as of 07/26/16 is a little too long. It's taking up over half a page on my 1440p screen, which would probably look like almost all of the page on 1080p.

I'm thinking of shortening it to these two lines:

i = * ( long * ) &y; // evil floating point bit level hacking

i = 0x5f3759df - ( i >> 1 ); // what the fuck?

Or finding another elegant programming example. Any takers?

Isn't It Sad that Genius Programming gets less love than Idiot Programming?

One is easier to pull off than the other, not to mention that truly elite hackers are now something of an Elegant Weapon for a More Civilized Age.
