I had the same problem with the intro to this as I did with the one for The Bionic Woman - most of it was just a bashing of the show rather than actually giving information, and it contained a number of errors. I've rewritten most of it. As I noted in the BW discussion page, if someone really wants to seek verification, my information comes from The Bionic Book by Herbie Pilato, and the just-released 40-DVD box set of the complete series released by Time Life.
