I realize he was asked to be the antithesis of a good Captain so as to entice Bridger to return, but one scene I still wonder about - during the initial battle with Starck the seaQuest computer crashes and he's shown shell-shocked, which does prompt Bridger to jump in and take action, but even with his instructions, he wouldn't risk the entire boat like that, would he? Did he actually freeze?
