Yeah, I was wondering if someone was going to suggest that. It's easier to tell how to pronounce it the way it is, but if it comes up often enough in the show it might end up being weird not having changed it. There is a significant group that tend to be annoyed if you do stuff like this just because of it being "official" though.
Edited by 96.253.22.197Well, let's wait 'til the show comes out and see if anything else about the title's spelling comes to light.
I could understand either one; with the Q would be official but I tend to read it as "tock-ger". I just wanted to note that there is a precedent for titling the page phonetically: our page for Kamen Rider Double notes that the series' official romanization is "Kamen Rider W", but "Double" is what's used across the wiki.
Actually, now that I think of it, if we used "To Qger" we'd have to go to extra trouble to make sure the links don't look incorrect (like I'm sure it does earlier in this sentence), so that's another incentive for keeping it phonetic.
Edited by 12.71.43.130Waaaay late reply. Not sure what everyone thinks about this now that show's near done. But I just wanted to point out that making sure the name looks right across the wiki is not that difficult; the How to Make a Custom Title tool exists just for that. We could actually leave the official link as Tokkyuger, make a ToQger link as a redirect, and still have every instance of the exact Tokkyuger link across the wiki show up in text as "Ressha Sentai ToQger", even though the link backs themselves on all the individual pages still say Tokkyuger in the code. We wouldn't have to worry about "To Qger" being a problem in that instance, so even though my personal vote is we should go with what the show has been pushing at us for 40 episodes now, this is probably the better option anyways.

The Close comes from the Wikipedia page. I personally think it's Kuros pronounced "Ku-rows" since you get black pun that way.
That merchandise ought to be good enough reason to move the page. It's a shame that's not as easy to do here as it is on Wikia or Wikipedia.
