Technically speaking, the Old Man owns the shop; he has a 51% interest in it, where as Rick owns 49%. It's been brought up once or twice that while they act as partners, the Old Man can overrule Rick when it comes down to it.

This one's a gaming trope e.g. videogames. Relates to character or class stats in terms of Competitive Balance. Not an example of that.

  • Jack of All Stats: The Harrisons know just enough about a variety of fields to be able to appraise most items themselves, but when they're offered more unusual, specific things, they call in experts with more specialized knowledge in fields ranging from coin collecting to Western memorabilia to historical documents and pretty much everything in between.

Sometimes they'll even ask each other for help. Corey asked Chumlee to verify a pair of Air Jordan basketball shoes, and also had Rick take a look at the Pete Rose baseball cards he was offered.

Basically, the breakdown goes something like this: the Old Man knows coins, militaria, and old toys, Rick knows sports memorabilia, art, weaponry, and historical items, Hoss knows motorcycles, cars, and electronics, and Chumlee knows eighties and nineties pop culture iconic items. The specialists are then called in for the more rare or heavily-faked versions of these items.

All the referances to the trainer's Super Bowl ring was actually a 2006 NBA Championship ring (Miami Heat, to be exact). Could someone please fix this?

What's with the people who write this article? I know people should be sympathetic to businessmen but parts of this article look like they've been written by Shawn Hannity and Gordon Ramsey taking turns with potshots at customers. I think the tone might need some revision.
