The original live action series is legally avaliable with English subtitles on DVD, and as of recent, can be bought from Amazon. If any contributors want to add more, then they can buy the discs, learn more about the series, and add those tropes. I myself will try to get some and help in any way I can, and as a matter of fact I own two (the first and last volumes) but it could take a while as they're kinda pricy (20 bucks a volume, and there are seven that I don't own). Hope this helps!

Couldn't help but notice that most of this page is about the anime and OVA, and doesn't talk all that much about the live action series. Despite the fact that it's namespace is "Series," which usually goes with live action shows.
