Moving this to discussion- removed it and added an entry for Ambiguously Bi:
- Bi The Way: One of the side-effects of temporarily absorbing the memories, skills, and traits of people whose brains she eats is that if Liv eats a male brain, she absent-mindedly finds herself attracted to women that the man knew (though she snaps out of it after a moment or two).
Basically, I think it's ambiguous whether her being attracted to the mistress is just because of absorbing the guy's memories/traits, as opposed to having some baseline attraction to women, which was heightened.
I mean Liv gains an interest and skills in art from the guy's brain- and while the latter fades, the former remains- which comes down on the side of her absorbing stuff from him.
On the other hand, she also showed more sexual interest in men during the episode, and since the painter was heterosexual, that would support the angle of the brain heightening pre-existing traits.
So yeah, that's why I think Ambiguously Bi as a character trait rather than temporary bisexuality.
Would Liv count as a Cute Monster Girl or is she too human in appearance?
Trump delenda est Hide / Show RepliesMost vampires are human except for Cute Little Fangs, and there's several vampire examples of them on the trope page, so I don't know why Liv wouldn't count.
Edited by Eagal You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I agree, she definitely fits. Aside from the unearthly paleness and her eyes when they go all zombie, she's very cute.
Situational Sexuality: A zombie's sexual preference can change depending on the sexuality of the brain they eat. Lowell turns gay for a day, and Liv openly lusts after everyone after eating the brain of a sex addict artist.
I don't think this qualifies as Situational Sexuality. That refers to sexual behavior that is due to the environment people are in, rather than their ordinary orientation, not having a desire due to eating someone's brain. I'm not sure there even is a trope covering that. Any thoughts?
