Maybe it's better as Ambiguously Bi then? At least, until things get more definite. I agree that it makes little sense to claim that "just because she's slept with men she must be bi" if there's no real attraction from her.

Does Gay Best Friend really apply to this series, considering that Rue is herself either gay or bisexual?

Should Rue really be included under Bi the Way? Her description even says "though she does not seem to have enjoyed any of them," and she expressed much greater interest in kissing Lexi. Being a lesbian myself I remember having the exact experience. And if the argument is "she wouldn't have came in contact with the boys like that if she was gay," that kinda reinforces the toxic Gold Star Lesbian trope, does it not?
