So what trope would fit the failure of the writers to do the basic research on an episode dealing with Daylight Savings Time ('The Lost Hour' I think the episode was titled) that Indiana didn't observe DST at the time (in fact it only started observing it in the last few years). So there'd be no reason for anyone to be changing their clocks to observe it.
