I'm surprised there's never been an American remake of this show. What with an RM - Rupert Murdoch - who has an unhealthy chunk of US media in his grip, and the existence of a wart on the face of broadcasting called FOX-TV (owned by this RM) - it'd be like shooting fish in a barrel.
This goes beyond mere office politics - The Office in both its versions - plus real actual political satire. Hmm. Would this make it too hot a property for the USA?
