It was my interpretation of this description of her (from The Other Wiki):
"[She is] often seen as Cold and Serious herself by most people. However, she is actually a caring person."
I guess I took Defrosting Ice Queen a bit literally.

You... really needs to watch the actual series first, maybe a few episodes or so, before giving things off. The Other Wiki are not always 100% accurate, you know.
There's someone in youtube called DtKingdom who uploads Sentai episodes (mostly raws, but better than nothing!). You may start using that for actual references.

If anything (if memory serves correctly), Lou would be a better candidate for defrosting the ice queen. But to be honest, I don't think either Sara or Lou can be qualified as Ice Queen.
The anti-flash phenomenon presents an interesting question. what exact is it about people and things from the Flash Galaxy that the earth so vehemently rejects and wants to destroy them, yet the demonstratedly hostile forces of the Mess aren't rejected similarly?
Okay, so Dai and Bun have classified as the Lightning Bruiser and Fragile Speedster, respectively. And I've listed Jin as the Jack of All Stats. But what about the girls? Which roles fit them in the Competitive Balance?

I've been thinking. Since Jin, Bun and Sara have been established to share The Smart Guy along with their own individual roles of The Hero, The Bumblebee and The Chick, respectively, do you think we could have Lou listed as say, oh I don't know, The Heart, so that we can say that she and Dai, The Lancer, share The Big Guy role? For those of you who have seen Flashman, has Lou shown any signs of being The Heart?
Okay, here's one thing I've kept thinking about...
Was Sara REALLY a Defrosting Ice Queen? From what I've seen in the actual episodes, she's already been nice from get-go and easy to smile. Doesn't Defrosting Ice Queen take LOTS of episodes being grumpy or sarcastic before she opens up and smiles? Sakura Nishinori seems to be the more fitting example of Defrosting Ice Queen, way more than Sara, who seems to have been DEFROSTED already when the story starts, if she is one.
Since her description is 'cold, sharp and serious, but actually nice underneath', I would say she's like a Gentle Giant... except she's not huge. Not Defrosting Ice Queen, since that trope means she would be cold and distant for a period of time in the series, before she opens up later. She's already open from get-go.
