From the Snark Bait entry to the YMMV section, especially CSI Miami, you'd think that these shows were utterly horrendous travesties. N Nnn NN Nn NN Nnng Ghh H...

Should this be considered a franchise, like Law and Order?

"Our Ghosts Are Different: In one episode, four recently deceased people talk about how they died and what they'd been doing till then. One of the "ghosts" was an Iraq war veteran who just returned home only to be killed trying to stop a robbery. The other three remark that it must have been the saddest day of his life, but the 'vet said for him it was the happiest, because he got to see his newborn son for the first time."

"Toe Tags", Season 7, episode 3: "Jack's wife Cara now has to deal with the fact that the murder of her husband was a random act of violence. Nick can only say the familiar words, "I'm sorry." But in the cooler, Jack is smiling, content. "I got to hold my baby girl."

Could someone who's seen the ep please help straighten out whether the tropes entry or the CSI wikia entry is correct as to the gender of the baby? Most online summaries I can find aren't mentioning either way.
