A word of warning to all: if you make any reference to Xander's (admittedly dickish) decision not to tell Buffy that they were going to re-ensoul Angel being responsible for what followed, I'm going to delete it. Because think about it. Buffy was trying to stop Angel from pulling the sword out of Acathla. Once it was pulled, her only option was to send Angel to Hell. Exactly what could she have done differently if she'd known?
Edited by ShorinBJWhat happened to the Wall Bangers page? Did 'Dethroning Moment of Suck' replace it, or something?
Hide / Show RepliesIt was cut in the Trope Repair Shop.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHey, so I changed the image again. I finally found one that fits the tone of the show AND isn't low-resolution! :) Let me know what y'all think.
Hide / Show RepliesNot bad, either of the DVD or recent images work but this could well do with a image picking discussion, if only to make it official and maybe if someone has something better. I'll run it by Ask The Tropers.
Edited by tsstevens Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursAw come on, that page image from Prophecy Girl was perfect. Why replace it with that low-res DVD cover?
Hide / Show RepliesI'll admit the dvd cover isn't perfect, but that Prophecy Girl shot was pretty fuzzy too. I've been looking for a better one and I'm surprised how few hi-res images of Buffy seem to be out there. Still looking though. I was thinking maybe a cast photo, but I can't seem to find one I like enough. I may try one just to see how it looks. Feel to try any of your own as well. Thanks!
Edited by beebrooxAin't that similar to Supernatural?
That, honestly, is the largest resolution of the image I can find and have no issue with it. I think it works better, but if you don't like it here.
And here.
Actually to save you a bit of trouble here are a few of my recommended alternatives.

Sorry it's taken me months to reply. I haven't been on here in a while. Anyway, I just changed the image again to one of the things on the search page you linked me to. If I recall correctly, I think it's still a DVD cover, but it's MUCH higher res than the last one I put up. Thanks for the help. Let me know what you think.
So, I was watching The Gift a few minutes ago, and now I'm watching the beginning of Season Six. I just had a thought, and I'm not sure if they're going to address this. But:
Shouldn't there be a new Slayer walking around somewhere? Do we ever meet her?
Hide / Show RepliesYeah, Buffy's out of the Slayer line. There'll only be a new one when Faith dies.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Concerning Spike's inhibitor chip, re: how he can hurt buffy.
- It appears Spike's chip works on his perceptions; since he knew Buffy died and he wasn't part of the "plan to bring her back" bunch, he initially saw her as a zombie-type, the setting on which the chip was locked.
Simpler, the biker gang interrupted the spell. Buffy came back WRONG.
She was mostly Buffy, but there was enough undeadness to Season 6 Buffy for her to legally count as a demon.
PLUS Slayers already have some demonishness injected by the Slayers spell even wile they are alive.
OR the chip is powered by Science: anyone who was properly dead and now walks around is a HXT Hostile extra terrestrial.
What if there were no hypothetical questions? There are 10 kinds of people: those who understand Binary and those who don't.Except the fact that he was able to prove that Tara wasn't part demon ("Family", Season Four) indicates that either it is something more perceptive than he - or that he's just very confident in his belief that Tara isn't a demon.
Spoiler tags seem to be a bit unreliable around the subpages- for example, Jenny Calendar's death scene is spoilered out on the character page, but unspoilered in Season Specific Tropes, Tearjerkers, etc.
Is this a case of It Was His Sled / Late-Arrival Spoiler? Should all such references be spoilered out, or un-spoilered, or left as-is?
Edited by Achyfi (Thank god for internal monologue.)Just wondering, did Faith's attempted rape and murder of Xander ever come out? Given neither Buffy nor Willow killed her for it I'm guessing this was kept hidden.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than Yours Hide / Show RepliesI'm going to go on a hunch and say it didn't. Willow likely would have eviscerated her if it did.

I'm bothered by how many trope pages list things from Season 8 and later under Live-Action TV. In my view, everything that follows Season 7 is comics, not television, and should be listed as such. Other properties that cross between different media are generally listed in the correct medium for the example being cited—why are the Buffy comics so often being treated differently? Is there any behind-the-scenes way to search all the trope pages for Buffy examples so that these comic book examples can be moved to comics (in which case, I'd be glad to do the grunt work of making the corrections, but finding them manually trope by trope would take years)? Or am I in the wrong here?
