Shout Out or not? When Buster Crabbe appears as a pilot (surname "Gordon," of course!), Buck asks if the two of them have ever met. Gordon smiles and replies that they haven't, they're from different times. When Buck later compliments Gordon on his dogfighting skills, Gordon says, "I've been doing this since before you were born."

Buck: "You think so?"

Gordon: "Young man, I know so."

That's an Actor Allusion, which is trivia, and it's already mentioned in the Trivia subpage.

Well, Actor Allusion is no longer tagged Trivia. Anyway, the aforementioned example is more specifically a Casting Gag, and it is on the main page.
