Should the main body of the page be primarily concerned with the second season? I don't mind the second season description being added on to it, especially due to the unusual circumstance of replacing the lead actress, but removing the context of the first season doesn't seem right. I'm primarily talking about the second paragraph.

Is it just me, or does it feel like any trope that is "negative" towards Kate Kane gets immediately deleted on this page?

To be frank, some of said tropes seem to have been deliberately used BECAUSE of the "negative" connotations even if they have to be misused to do.

For example, Irony...which was written as entirely personal Fridge Logic to critique the character.

Which tropes?

Most of the deletions so far were justifications and speculations. Plus a bunch of preview tropes that did not transfer into the main show.

AnnoyedOwl, many of your trope additions for this show have been inaccurate, either as misuses of the trope itself or as misrepresentations of the content of the show to make it fit a trope. That is why they get removed or corrected.

So it just happens to be a coincidence that all of the "inaccurate, either as misuses of the trope itself or as misrepresentations of the content" tropes just happen to also be negative towards Kate Kane

It's primarily been you doing it, AnnoyedOwl, and over a period of weeks if not months. So no, I don't think it's coincidental.

I've actually had a similar experience to Annoyed Owl here, with caivu being the one to remove my use of "Failure Hero", with the reasoning being that I was misusing the trope. This is despite the points I brought up fitting well within the Failure Hero trope. Failure Hero's Comic section includes examples from Spider-Man, Batman and Daredevil having similar issues, and I specifically bring up one thing the Batman example cites. Now, admittedly I've only seen up to the Crisis episodes, but this does feel in some ways like Kate Kane is being protected from any tropes that could be considered negative, even if they fit.

Ares, your examples don't fit (in addition to sounding complainy). That's why I changed them.

Ares your point does not fit into the failure hero category which is why Caivu removed them. You attempting to shoehorn them to fit does not help matters.

Failure Hero gets used as a dumping ground to shit on characters quite often. I'd wager good money that it's a shoehorn.

"A hero has failed" is not the same as "a hero defined by their constant failures."

Out of curiosity, is Jonathan Cartwright's last name the very first time the Arrowverse has directly referenced Gotham?
