Could someone explain to me how Batman "using fear and intimidation" is an example of him showing "serenity, control and observing authority", while Superman "apprehending them calmly and peacefully when he can" is an example of "passion, wildness, and defiance"? I'd have thought more the other way round myself.

I'm also not sure it's true that Superman "loves the attention and glamour he receives from the public" — in most of the comics I've read he accepts it as a result of what he does, but is actually mildly embarassed about it, which is why he prefers being Clark Kent.
