One of my favorite episodes of the Smurfs. An anti-drug story where a magical orb addicts several Smurfs with its power and makes them go crazy plays itself out rather beautifully, with the "drug pusher" being a wicked witch who disguises herself as a beautiful princess offering a special gift that's supposed to bring inspiration to the uninspired. While I would have preferred a story where a real drug (or an analog to a real drug) does the job, I think it works well with the target audience, as it shows that an addictive power can do harmful things to people and even cause harmful social interactions that make people wonder what's going on with them and why they are acting that way.
