Was about to add this, but I think this may be an ill fitting trope. But I think this aspect of the episode deserves a mention.
- Dungeonmaster'sGirlfriend: Kinda, and probably not intentional. Throughout the entire race, Rainbow and AJ are the only racers Pinkie and Spike discuss, despite eventually coming last, meaning that ignored the actual winners in favour of the two. Furthermore, after giving Applejack a lift back to the race, they drop her into FIRST PLACE.
What about when Applejack uses the bees' nest to try to slow down Rainbow Dash, but it causes her to blow by AJ in a panic instead? Would that be a Didn't See That Coming or the failure of a Batman Gambit?
Hide / Show RepliesI think "Oh No She Didn't" applies when AJ and RD end up having to resort into bumping into each other.
Spike: Oh no she did-n't! Pinkie Pie: Oh yes she di-id!
Should Can't Get Away with Nuthin' be added here for Applejack?
Rainbow Dash gets away with cheating and wins the Iron Pony competition, yet when Applejack is basically strongarmed into cheating, she pays for it.
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel Hide / Show RepliesI don't really think so, remember, along with AJ, Twilight beat Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash didn't cheat. There was no "no wings" rule. No Wings would be subjected to an Obvious Rules Patch.
The "Unusual Euphemism" Applejack says is "Nuts and shoes".
