Fridge thought for someone to categorize that I haven't seen addressed. While The Doctor is giving his speech to Adelaide from the airlock about how he has to not change anything, she is summoned as being needed NOW. She ignores it and keeps listening to the doctor then all hell breaks loose. What if, had she gone then, she would have averted the disaster or at least allowed the escape somehow. Then the doctor was right, not that he caused the based disaster, but kept them from escaping. Perhaps if he had kept his mouth shut there would have been survivor including Adelaide and she killed her self not to preserve an uncontaminated time line but a fucked up one the doctor created though distracting her.

This might be some fridge logic. It is stated in The Waters of Mars that the events of Journey's End are what inspired Captain Adelaine Brook to explore space. However, wasn't the universe reset in the 11th Doctor's tenure and the events, if not erased themselves, were at least erased from the memories of the people on Earth. This means that Captain Brook doesn't remember her inspiration to go into space, and indeed might have now NEVER gone into space.
