This scene is set in 1992, two years after Lois Lane did find out. Then again, this is setting up a parallel with Lucy, and Lucy ends up finding out that Grant is the Ghost.
This is edging toward Conversation in the Main Page, and I'm not sure it adds up to being an example of the trope named.
