While yes, the reaction itself is appropriate for the trope, but the reason behind it isn't, everything beyond your normal downplaying and exaggerating just... sound off to me.

I don't think the PW page describes the trope correctly, it just evolve into a case of Spell My Name With An S and Accidental Misnaming's more extreme reaction.
