Should the "elimination of the Saturday morning cartoon block" section be in total abandonment? It was never a core part of NBC/ABC/CBS/FOX. It's just something they did in the 80s and 90s. If it's the Cartoon Network showing live-action instead of cartoons, that would be total abandonment, but the big networks are "general programming." They can feature anything, old shows, new shows, dramas, cartoons, sports, etc. A change in direction for them is not Network Decay. I always thought Network Decay referred to when a channel with a specialty moves away from that specialty.
