I'm not sure the And Now You Must Marry Me example applies. The trope underlines that actual coercion or force has to be involved; I don't think one partner in a pre-existing relationship wanting to get married counts. (There's a big difference between forcing someone into marriage and, say, Mona Lisa complaining that Vinny hasn't married her after years of dating and making it clear that if he doesn't get a move on already she's going to dump him.)
