We should start adding entries relating to the Through the Never movie/concert/feature-length-music-video.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.Regarding the Mascot change - does the fanged, mohawked skull shooting the bird count as one, and if so, does it have a name?
Hide / Show RepliesHe's called "the scary guy", and the only place I've ever seen him was the Live Shit album.
For a band of Metallica's stature, he's not that prominent or well-promoted, certainly not enough to achieve "mascot-status" (otherwise he'd show up on more t-shirts like Motörhead's Snaggletooth or Dio's Murray). Even the fans can barely agree on a proper mascot. If anything their brand's most obvious symbol is the stylized M or the funny-looking ninja star (kind of like AC/DC and the Lightning Bolt or Nirvana and the smiley).
Not every band needs a mascot.
Edited by AlucardI've seen it in a few other places besides that, but I think you're right, it's not ubiquitious enough to be considered a true mascot.
Should we create a page for the album, "St. Anger"? It's an interesting and polarizing album that really deserves to be noted.
