This is very minor and petty, I know, but isn't it a tiny bit misleading to refer to japanese games as "eastern games", seeing as the only games from anywhere in Asia that saw any kind of worldwide success were japanese?

Regardless, that puts any game ever released in Asia as being Japanese, successful or otherwise. Japan's in the East, so it's an apt description.
I agree that it's misleading since they're all Japanese games anyway. It's like calling American games North American video games so that we can include Canada...
