While it's true it's being used more and more, it's less to do with laziness and more with cost. Using Flash properly is just as time consuming as hand shading cels, but cels cost on more than the extra time (if any) that it takes to animate on a computer. This includes the purchasing and storage of the cels, which can't just be stacked up somewhere and forgotten; plus, keeping old resources available is always a plus, and Flash makes it a lot easier to keep track of it.
We need to add a video game section. Assassin's Creed has been using it since at least 2, and plenty of other video games use it for cinematics. How best can we incorporate it?
This article really needs a link to Web Games somewhere, but I can't decide whether it should be in the text itself, or in the See Also line. Suggestions? (Or just Wiki Magic?)
Hide / Show RepliesWhy is there nothing about the 'flaws'' of flash, like the one-dimensional, clunky movement associated with it?
Hide / Show RepliesThe opening mentions how ''not everything in Flash is good,'' and that Flash is used in ways it was not originally intended to perform.
The list below the intro was also organized in good and bad shows in the way they executed Flash, but the consensus agreed that too many titles were relative and it was too hard to settle on enough good and bad lists, so now they're just ordered by the alphabet.
I wonder if South Park should be added as a show that is often assumed to be done in Flash. It doesn't help that there is a Flash tool to produce their stuff so the fan can have fun with it, and the quality of the Flash version is quite similar.
Everyone Has An Important Job To Do Hide / Show RepliesIt is ASSUMED to be done in Flash... but it is not. It's done in a 3D software program. So it wouldn't count.
It feels like Flash is used quite alot, and while some shows like Fosters home, etc are used greatly, it seems like lots of previously Hand drawn shows like Arthur, Jhonny test and etc are using flash to cut corners and use flash lazily, is there anyone with the saee feeling? or an Opinion?
