Are they? I don't recall seeing them at all in the official translations. Where does that come from?
Anyway, I think that they're a bit distracting and ugly, so would anyone mind if I got rid of them?

They were in the previous Manga Plus translation (and the original Japanese) but Viz got rid of them entirely when they took over and retranslated all the chapters. You can get rid of them, just try to keep at least one mention of their once existence somewhere.

Since the rule is to use the most recent official English translation, that would mean getting rid of them. I'll at least keep them in the Spell My Name With An S example.

I wonder if Yuri being a member of the secret police should still be treated as a spoiler. I'd remove those spoiler tags, because I don't remember him having much of a role in the story before being revealed as such, and it happened rather early on anyway. What do others think?
