After rereading chapter 4, I added a lampshade note below Improperly Placed Firearms to note that while most of the SWA's weapons are difficult to obtain in Italy, this observation is also made in-fiction. It might just be speculation on my part, but an obvious next conclusion is that the SWA avoids using standard military hardware to help maintain deniability.

Awesome But Impractical is a bit argumentative at the moment and both sides seem to be partially correct. Is there any agreement we can take to this trope or should it just be deleted?

I'd just delete it. The initial entry sounds like some larval gun-otaku spouting off, I really doubt he ever watched much of the series if at all, just wanted to sound authoritative. My reply is basically me calling him out for never watching the show. Back in the day, someone would have just killed it and been done with it. I don't like to do that myself, but when this site got too big to police, the amount of cruft increased exponentially.

To, those who "can't find" certain scenes and think that if THEY can't find them, they must not exist. These bits are in the PRINTED Volume 15 (which has been out in Japan since mid-December). Most "fan" sources are from "Dengeki Daiho" magazine. Aida often adds pages for the collections (and as far as I know, none of the scanners update).

Similar scenes that are not in the scans, but in the collections are Triela's walk in the park from Volume 10, or Petra and Alex getting out of the water in volume 11. Jean's time at the graveyard in volume 15 is also lengthened by a couple pages.

Short form "scans are not the be-all end all", most scanners are out for speed. They don't do updates.

Other short form, just cause you can't find it through the usual internet channels, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Just because YOU can't find something, doesn't determine it's legitimacy.
